Aamir Khan's PK: Fifth Week Box Office Review

Aamir Khan-starrer PK maintained its exceptional performance in its fifth week and collected a total of Rs 338.1 crores at the domestic box office, according to a tweet by trade analyst Taran Adarsh.
PK collected Rs 4.27 crore in its fifth week at the domestic box office box, Mr Adarsh said.
According to Bollywood website Koimoi.com, the film has now made a profit of Rs 253 crores, thus taking its profit percentage to 298 per cent.
The film which was made on a budget of Rs 85 crores has become the second most profitable venture of 2014 after Queen, says the website.
PK is the highest grossing Bollywood movie ever, leaving behind Dhoom 3's domestic tally of Rs 280.25 crore (net) at the domestic box-office. Dhoom 3 also incidentally had Aamir Khan in the lead.
First film by director Rajkumar Hirani in five years, PK has a star-studded cast, which includes Anushka Sharma, Sanjay Dutt and Sushant Singh Rajput.
Vinod Chopra Films and Rajkumar Hirani Films, in association with Disney India, had released PK on December 19 and since then it has been soaring high at the box office both in India and abroad.
